Wenigenjenaer Nachrichten - Neighborhood Newspaper
The neighborhood newspaper "Wenigenjenaer Nachrichten" is produced entirely by dedicated residents on a volunteer basis. It is published three times a year and covers life in the neighborhood, club activities, and news from Wenigenjena. The "Wenigenjenaer Nachrichten" is distributed free of charge to all households. You can also download the current issue as well as older issues as PDF documents from the Downloads section.

2026 Wenigenjena Summer Festival

- Where: Saale Promenade, Wenigenjena

In addition to numerous booths and great hands-on activities from many local clubs and organizations in our neighborhood, a colorful and varied stage program for the whole family awaits you:

- 11:00 a.m.: Opening of the summer festival
- 11:30 a.m.: Gymnastics group
- 12:00 p.m.: TC-Kristall
- 1:00 p.m.: Schumann Guitar School
- 1:30 p.m.: Neighborhood Council (News & Discussion)
- 2:00 p.m.: Formula 1
- 3:00 p.m.: Magic show with Magician Heiner (fun for all ages)
- 4:00 p.m.: Dance Company
- 4:30 p.m.: Drachenkinder
- 5:00 p.m.: Navy (Rap)
- 5:30 p.m.: Discussion on volunteer work in the neighborhood
- 6:00 p.m.: Salsa Brava Band (Latin)
- 7:00 p.m.: Possible Anxiety (alternative rock)
- 8:00 p.m.: Closing Remarks & Wrap-Up
Refreshments and great entertainment will be provided throughout the event. Bring your family, friends, and good spirits—we look forward to a wonderful time together on the banks of the Saale!
